Experience
I attended the University of Texas at Austin. In college, I began my tutoring career by helping students who were struggling in the subjects of Math and Science. Once in grad school, I started teaching younger undergraduate students. I have a number of degrees in both Science and Math and have now taught for five years, working with students from junior high up through college. I am confident I can assist students of any age and skill level. My favorite thing about tutoring is breaking complicated problems down into solvable parts that the students can then understand much better. After that, we can put the pieces back together and see the bigger picture. In addition to the subjects I have mentioned, I am also comfortable helping students as they prepare to take standardized exams like the SAT or GRE. I have a lot of experience taking these sort of tests and scored in the 99th percentile on my own GRE. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy swimming, puzzles, working out, table tennis, and competing in Rubik's cube-solving competitions.
