Experience
I have been an elementary classroom teacher for 10 years. I have worked with a variety of students ranging from ESOL, sped ed, disabled, and behaviorally challenged. I have taught many after school academic clubs over the past few years in order to tutor struggling students in math and reading. Tutoring in an 1-on-1 setting provides the student with the opportunity to have direct instruction that accommodates their specific needs. I enjoy seeing the maximized progress students can make after having a 1-on-1 tutoring experience.
