I love to tutor students in elementary, middle, high school, and college. If I am your tutor, you will find yourself very competent in the subject matter you are working with, whether it be arithmetic, math, geometry, algebra, calculus 1,2,3, or engineering. I have tutored students before and during my time in college. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Tutoring has always been part of my work life. I have a strong desire to help students empower their study time with solid understanding. Whatever style of learning a student prefers, I will figure it out. The basic principles that guide any subject matter are very important to grasp. Once the basics are clear, the student will find they understand the reasons certain problems are thought about and worked through in specific ways. For pleasure I like to play basketball, read, practice piano pieces, and play the guitar. The power of knowledge can be awesome and build confidence in many ways. Work with me to learn to enjoy the rewards of these often thought difficult subjects.
